COVID-19 Visitor Travel Advisory
Posted on
With COVID-19 remaining a risk to the health of our residents, the Village of Cumberland would like to remind visitors to our community to follow all public health and travel advice and recommendations.
As a community that prides itself on being a global destination, the risks presented by COVID-19 have contributed to a number of social and economic challenges in Cumberland. Whereas the community is still open and inviting to visitors, we ask that those coming from outside our region to do so under the travel guidance and precautions put in place by the Provincial and Federal governments.
When visiting our Village, please be mindful and maintain at least 2 m of physical distancing, particularly in high traffic areas such as public spaces and commercial areas. Likewise, please stay home if/when sick, practice good hand hygiene and wear masks when required/necessary.
If you’re visiting from outside the Province of BC, please inform yourself regarding the current restrictions put in place due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

As further reminder, all international travellers returning to, or entering, BC are required by law to self-isolate for 14 days and complete a self-isolation plan.
These precautions have been put in place to protect all BC communities. Recognizing the success we’ve collectively experienced so far, we ask that those visiting our community to do so in a safe and respectful manner.
