Cumberland Lake Park Concession Renovation Complete

Posted on

The Village of Cumberland and Lake Park Operator, Cumberland Lake Wilderness Society (CLWS), are excited to announce the completion of the long anticipated renovation of the park concession. The $30,000 Village parks capital project focused on upgrades to the building’s plumbing, electrical systems and ventilation systems. The installation of an exhaust hood and fire suppression system, in addition to a $3000 investment from CLWS in commercial kitchen equipment, will enable the return of grilled and fried items to the menu.

CLWS has subcontracted food services in 2019 to Kendra and Lydia, co-owners of Pig’n Out Dodge City, who are excited to open the doors of “The Lake Hut” to park visitors on June 15th.

The Lake Hut will be offering your beloved concession favourites while featuring local, sustainably produced brands such as Lentelus Farms smokies and kids dogs, and Gunter Brother’s hamburgers.

Stay for lunch, dinner, or grab a quick cone! Open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm for summer 2019.
