Empire Days in Cumberland

Celebrated in Cumberland since 1919, Empire Days are held on the Victoria Day long weekend in May to celebrate the crowning of the May queen.
Dunsmuir Avenue will be closed to traffic on Saturday, May 16 for Market Day and Monday, May 18 for the parade.
