Cumberland Lake Park

Cumberland’s 24 hectare Lake Park on Comox Lake offers sandy beaches and a swimming float, a concession, a campground with 14 serviced sites and 34 unserviced sites, a group campsite, a boat launch and dock, and hiking trails. The Park is located 3 km west of the historic commercial core at the end of Comox Lake Road.
Camping Reservations and Boat Launch
Lake Park is operated by the Lake Park Society (LPS). Along with the campground, boat launch and other existing park amenities, LPS offers outdoor recreation, education, and experiential learning programs to the public.
Cumberland Lake Park Master Plan
In 2022, The Cumberland Lake Park Update was developed to be used as an amendment (not a consolidation or replacement) of the 2014 Cumberland Lake Park Master Plan.
In 2014, the Cumberland Lake Park Master Plan was developed to guide the future development and operation of the park. View the plan map of the park.
In 2016, Council reviewed the concept plans for the day use area of the park.
