Council to Consider Transfer of Pidgeon Lake Road to Comox Valley Regional District

The Village of Cumberland has agreed to consider the closure, removal of highway dedication, and disposal of Pidgeon Lake Road to the Comox Valley Regional District. Pidgeon Lake Road is a 575m length of highway that runs from Bevan Road to the Comox Strathcona Waste Management Centre.

This open house is the first step of a process that includes Cumberland Council’s consideration of a road closure and highway dedication removal bylaw which is expected to take place through the spring of 2014. Watch Council meeting agendas in April and May 2014 for the bylaw.
