CVRD Woodstove Exchange Program

Posted on

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is encouraging qualifying homeowners to exchange their old woodstoves for high-efficiency, low-emission appliances that are Canadian Standard Association (CSA) or Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved.

The wood stove exchange program will run from February 1 until April 30, 2016 with 40 $250 rebates being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The rebates are available to registered owners of legal dwelling units throughout the Comox Valley who use wood for their primary heat source and who replace their old wood stove for a new CSA/EPA certified wood stove.
