Dunsmuir Avenue Construction Progressing

Posted on

The construction crew is preparing for the final Village upgrades work along Dunsmuir Avenue. Sidewalk curbs have been installed up to Fourth Street, and Dunsmuir Avenue from Fifth Street to Third Street is ready to pave. Underground infrastructure will be complete by early November, but paving is weather dependent.

There will continue to be intermittent closures on Dunsmuir between Fifth and Second. Blocks and intersections will be opened when possible. Don’t forget that businesses in these blocks are open for business and ready for your visit.

Three street trees were removed in September, and locations have been identified for the new trees. They will be planted in the coming weeks – or, depending on the weather conditions, in the spring, near the library, Mar’s on Main/Riders Pizza, and the Cumberland Grind coffee shop.
