Posted on

The BC Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP) is a grant program offered by the BC government. It provides funding to Climate Action Charter signatories, including Cumberland.

Cumberland is eligible to receive 100 percent of the carbon taxes paid directly, such as the carbon tax on the fuel for Village vehicles. This funding supports Cumberland in its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to achieve climate action goals.

Cumberland reports annually to the Province on its actions and inventory, and progress toward meeting climate action goals.
