Liquid Waste Management Planning Update

Posted on

In 2016, Cumberland developed a short list of options for improving sewage treatment. The Village is now studying these treatment and discharge options and planning a phased approach that will spread the cost of treatment upgrades over time.

The results of these studies will be brought back to the Wastewater Advisory Committee (WAC) and the public in fall 2017. Everyone is welcome to attend the Wastewater Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for September 7 from 1-4pm in Council Chambers.

There will be further opportunities to give feedback in November. Check back for agendas, minutes and updates on the website.

The August 2017 Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP) newsletter is now available. View the newsletter here, and our LWMP page here for more information.
