Noise Bylaw Exemption for Summer Concert Series

Cumberland residents are advised that the Village has approved a Noise Control bylaw exemption to allow the return of the Summer Concert Series to Village Square this July and August. Concerts are scheduled to wrap up by 9:15 each Thursday evening, although an exemption has been granted until 9:30 p.m. to allow for some flexibility.
While the Summer Concert Series has been generally well received in past years, we recognize that it is not without its impacts on nearby residents, and we appreciate your understanding. Those impacted by the noise can submit comments to the Village office at info@cumberland.ca or by calling 250.336.2291 during regular office hours.
