An official community plan (OCP) bylaw is a statement of objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning and land use management.
The Cumberland Official Community Plan bylaw includes:
- a community vision and goals in Part B
- land use policy direction on the natural environment, built environment, economic development, climate change, and community well-being in Part C
- implementation tools including development permit areas and a heritage conservation area in Part D
