Possible Canada Post Strike May Disrupt Tax Payment Delivery

Due to a possible Canada Post strike, it is recommended that property tax payments and home owner grant applications be delivered through other means that the mail system in order to be received prior to the property tax deadline of July 4, 2016.

Payments and homeowner grant applications not be received by the Village by the deadline are subject to a 10% penalty.

You can pay your property taxes through a variety of options, including

  • in person at the Village office
  • through your financial institution either online or in person
  • by credit card using a third party service,
  • by courier,
  • by after-hours drop box at the Village Office.

Home owner grant applications must be submitted to the Village office.
