More Traffic Safety Features For Cumberland Road

In late January 2022, the new flashing lights will be installed at the two crosswalks on Cumberland Road at Bevan Road and Bruce Street to improve pedestrian safety at these locations. This project is partially funded by ICBC.
Flashing lights will also be installed on the 50km/hr signs at the entrance to the community on Cumberland Road to highlight the speed limit reduction coming from the Comox Valley Parkway and for motorists heading out of Cumberland.
