No. 2 Dam and Spillway Project
The No. 2 water reservoir is an important water supply source for the Village.
Windermere Lane and Maryport Lane Sewer Separation
The lanes south of Windermere (between Second and Fifth) and Maryport (between Third and Seventh), is slated to have its existing combined sanitary/storm main replaced.
Speed Limit Reduction and Traffic Calming Projects
Speed limits in the Village core are planned to be reduced in 2027.
Wastewater Upgrades Project
These required upgrades to the wastewater treatment system will meet provincial standards, as well as fulfill environmental goals to remove human-made toxins, restore degraded ecosystems and release safe water into Maple Lake Creek and the Trent River.
First Street Roads and Utilities
First Street, between Windermere and Penrith Avenue, is slated for a complete road rebuild and underground utility replacement.
