Ulverston Avenue Watermain and Sidewalk
This project will construct a sidewalk from Fifth Street to Tenth Street along with some new watermain.
Ulverston Lane Storm and Sewer Separation
The lane south of Ulverston, between Third Street and Fourth Street, is slated to have its existing combined sanitary main replaced.
First Street Roads and Utilities
First Street, between Windermere and Penrith Avenue, is slated for a complete road rebuild and underground utility replacement.
Wastewater Upgrades Project
These required upgrades to the wastewater treatment system will meet provincial standards, as well as fulfill environmental goals to remove human-made toxins, restore degraded ecosystems and release safe water into Maple Lake Creek and the Trent River.
Saito House Heritage Protection Initiative
The Village is working towards long-term heritage protection of the Saito House, a privately owned residence located within Coal Creek Historic Park.
Ḱwaxdzi’dzas Affordable Housing Development
The Village is working on the development of an affordable rental apartment building at 3345 Second Street to help address housing affordability and availability in the Village.
