You can dispose of your Christmas tree through Cumberland’s weekly curbside organics collection each Wednesday.
Trees taller than 3′ must be cut in half. Please remove all decorations and tinsel.

Trees cannot be longer than 90cm (36in), wider than 60cm (24in) in diameter and weigh more than 22 kg (49 pounds). Tree trunk diameter cannot exceed 7.6cm (3in) because these can jam the packing mechanism in the truck.
You may also take your tree to the Comox Strathcona Waste Management Centre at 2400 Bevan Road for a charge of $10. Call the centre at 250-334-6016 for more information
