Following the re-location and construction of the new Fire Hall on Cumberland Road, in 2022 Council completed a strategic review of core Village-owned properties.
Focused on the Village owned lands on the 2600 block of Dunsmuir Avenue and Union Road, the purpose of the strategic review was to identify the preferred locations for the long-term re-location, expansion and/or redevelopment of core Village facilities including:
- Public Works Operations Centre
- Village Office and Council Chambers
- Recreation and Culture facilities.
The Municipal Facilities Update summarizes the outcomes of the review process and identifies a phased approach to addressing the Village’s long-term facility needs (click here for PDF).
Further information and/or updates with respect to the Village’s facilities planning will be posted here as future planning works are completed.
