The Village of Cumberland invites applications for the temporary part-time Bylaw Officer position within the Development and Bylaw Service Department. The position will begin immediately and end on September 13, 2024, or upon the return of the incumbent.
The Bylaw Enforcement Officer is responsible for the general enforcement of bylaws within the Village of Cumberland by providing advice, explaining and interpreting bylaws, and gathering evidence. The Officer will conduct public education and awareness programs to achieve bylaw compliance and respond to bylaw complaints in accordance with the Village’s practices and policies.
