Evolve E-Bikes & E-Scooters Share Service

In 2025 the Evolve E-Bikes & E-Scooters Share Service program officially launched in Cumberland. After a brief pause over the winter, the E-bikes and E-scooters will be available for use again in the Village starting May 1st at the following six locations:

  • Cumberland Village Park
  • Village Square
  • First and Dunsmuir
  • Forest Hall Road
  • Solport
  • Bruce Street & Coniston Crescent.

In May 2024 the CVRD, in partnership with the City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox and BCAA’s Evolve E-bike Share, launched a regional e-bike share pilot program in the Comox Valley with the goal of providing residents and visitors with affordable and environmentally friendly transportation options. The Evolve pilot was developed in direction from the CVRD Board and recommendations from the Comox Valley Mobility Primer to provide a high-quality transportation alternative to the private automobile.
