Expect Hikers on the Trails this Weekend

The Village is advising residents that a special event running October 2 through 4 will bring increased visitor traffic to the lower Cumberland Community Forest and adjacent trail network. Expect to encounter groups of hikers and ensure dogs are kept on leash.
Affected trails within the Cumberland Community Forest include Big Log, Josh’s, Mama Bear, Space Nugget, Black Hole, Kitty Litter, Quacker, Two and a Juice and Tied Knot. Other affected trails include Resurrection, Rapture Access, Outfox and Round Out. Please also expect walking groups on Davis Lake Main, particularly near the yellow gate at the bottom of Sutton Road, and in Coal Creek Historic Park.
