July 15 Transit Open House
Posted on
There will be a transit Open House from 4 – 6pm at the Council Chambers (2675 Dunsmuir Avenue) on Tuesday, July 15.
This is an opportunity for those who take transit in the Comox Valley to/from Cumberland to come and learn about the new routing for the # 2 Cumberland bus.
These route changes are a result of traffic flow changes associated with closing a section of Ulverston Ave, between Egremont Road and First Street to accommodate the new School District 71 Learning Campus, the #2 Cumberland Busy will have new routing Monday July 7, 2014.
To learn more about these changes, please visit www.bctransit.com or call the Transit Info Line at (250)339-5453.
A pdf of the Route Change brochure that was sent to Cumberland residents is available here: Cumberland Number Two Bus Route – July 2014.
