Liquid Waste Management Plan Open House November 1, 2016

Since the last Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP) open house in September, the Village of Cumberland has learned about a new federal-provincial funding opportunity. The Clean Water and Wastewater Fund will provide up to 83% of the cost of eligible water, wastewater and stormwater treatment projects.
The Village has fast-tracked the work on treatment options in order to meet the application deadline of November 23.
Please join us for another open house, 6 to 9 pm, Tuesday November 1, 2016 to learn more about this and give us your feedback. The open house will be held at Council Chambers, 2675 Dunsmuir Avenue, next to the Fire Hall.
