No. 6 Mine Park is Now Open to the Public

October 27, 2023 Update: Hazard tree assessment has been completed in No. 6 Mine Park after the October 24th snow event and the majority of the park has been re-opened to the public. Some designated areas continue to pose some risk and have been cordoned off with warning tape. For your safety please stay clear of this marked areas.
No. 6 Mine Park was closed on October 24, 2023 until further notice due to a number of hazardous trees being downed as a result of the recent snow storm. Staff will be working to clean up and reopen the park as soon as safely possible.
Other trails in the Village may also be affected and may remain closed until they can be properly assessed.
