Property Taxes are Due July 4, 2022

Please be sure to pay your property taxes and apply for your homeowner grant by July 4, 2022 to avoid a 10% penalty on any outstanding amounts. Partial payments are welcome.

Village office closed Fri July 1st for Canada Day.

**The Village does not recommend making your tax payments through your financial institution or through or Plastique.com without five business days to process the payment before the July 4, 2022 deadline.

Homeowner Grants

Effective 2021, all home owner grant applications are submitted directly to the province. For more information visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call BC Ministry of Finance at
1-888-355-2700. Apply for your home owner grant before the deadline of July 4, 2022 to avoid penalties on that amount.

Homeowner grant applications must be submitted each year directly to the Village office by the deadline date to avoid a 10% penalty on the grant amount.

It is not necessary to pay your taxes in order to claim the grant.

After Hours Drop Slot

After hours, you can drop off a cheque and your homeowner grant application through the drop slot in the door of the Village office. The Village office will be closed on Friday July 1, 2022 for the Canada Day holiday and will be open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, July 4, 2022.
