Reminder: Property Taxes due Wednesday July 2, 2025

Please be sure to pay your property taxes and apply for your homeowner grant by July 2, 2025 to avoid a 10% penalty on any outstanding amounts. Partial payments are welcome.
Village office is open Monday June 30 but is closed Tuesday July 1 for Canada Day.
**The Village does not recommend making your tax payments through your financial institution or through Option Pay (online) without five business days to process the payment before the July 2, 2025 deadline.
Homeowner Grants
All home owner grant applications are submitted directly to the province. For more information visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call BC Ministry of Finance at 1-888-355-2700. Apply for your home owner grant before the deadline of July 2, 2025 to avoid penalties on that amount.
Homeowner grant applications are submitted through the Province (see link above) and must be submitted each year by the deadline date to avoid a 10% penalty on the grant amount.
It is not necessary to pay your taxes in order to claim the grant.
After Hours Drop Slot
After hours, you can drop off a cheque through the drop slot in the door of the Village office. The Village office is open Monday June 30, but will be closed on Tuesday July 1, 2025 for the Canada Day holiday. The office will be open for regular business hours, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
