Solid Waste Collection Unaffected by Sunday’s Fire

The Village of Cumberland has confirmed there is no anticipated service disruption for solid waste collection on Monday, September 14, 2026.

The Comox Valley Regional District website advises that:

The Comox Valley Waste Management Centre will be open for regular operating hours on Monday, September 14, 2026.
There will be no impact to curbside recycling, organics or garbage collection
