Ulverston Lane Storm and Sewer Separation

This page was last reviewed on February 24, 2026.

The lane south of Ulverston, between Third Street and Fourth Street, is slated to have its existing combined sanitary main replaced. In addition to replacing approximately 120m of failing clay tile sanitary main, a new storm main, and storm system connections, will be added to prevent stormwater from entering the sanitary system.

This project helps upgrade the Village’s underground infrastructure to prepare for the future and helps prevent unnecessary stormwater from entering the sanitary system which reduces the demand on the Village’s wastewater treatment facilities. Anticipated start time is mid March 2026.
