2026 Property Assessments Issued by BC Assessment

Posted on

The BC Assessment Authority will be issuing the 2026 property assessments to property owners across British Columbia on January 2, 2026.

A significant change to your property’s assessed values does not necessarily result in a proportionately significant change in your property taxes. For additional information on how BC Assessment assess properties visit the section on the BC Assessment website dedicated to Vancouver Island Region property assessments.

If you’ve recently moved, you can update your property information and change your mailing address at BC Assessment-update your property information. Please be sure to include your PO Box number if you use one. More detailed information specific to the Village of Cumberland will be available on the Village of Cumberland’s website in early January 2026.
