2026 Property Tax Notices

Property owners should have received their property tax notices by late May. The payment due date is July 2, 2026.
Property tax notices have been mailed or emailed to property owners in the Village of Cumberland. If you are a Cumberland property owner and have not received your tax notice, please contact the Village Office at 250-336-2291 or info@cumberland.ca
Property tax payments not received by the deadline of July 2, 2026, are subject to a 10% penalty. For more information, please visit: https://cumberland.ca/property-taxes/
Home owner grant applications must be submitted directly to the Province of BC. To apply or learn more please visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call BC Ministry of Finance at 1-888-355-2700. Apply for your home owner grant before the deadline of July 2, 2026.
Tax Deferment Programs are available for eligible BC homeowners. For more information, eligibility requirements, and how to apply, please gov.bc.ca/propertytaxdeferment or call BC Ministry of Finance.
