Share Your Input on the Regional Parks & Trails Strategic Plan

The Village of Cumberland supports the Comox Valley Regional District(CVRD) in the development of a regional park service, and a new Parks and Trails Strategic Plan. Regional Parks and Trails are focused on protecting and conserving regionally significant natural areas and connecting our core communities. The vision for this plan is to provide an overarching guide for decision making, acquisitions, changes, and development of the regional park system for the next 20 years and beyond.
The public will have several opportunities to comment on the development of this plan via a series of public open houses, and online surveys and information sessions. Please drop in for the upcoming open house to learn more and share your input on the development of this influential guiding document.
When: Wednesday January 24th, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
