Traffic Notice: Sunday, April 28 at 11am – 2pm

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, the road cycling leg of the Snow to Surf Adventure Relay Race travels through Cumberland from approximately 11 am to 2 pm. This leg starts at Cumberland Lake Park at Comox Lake and travels down Comox Lake Road, Sutton Road, to Dunsmuir Avenue through to Royston.
The following traffic restrictions apply:
- 11 am to 2 pm: traffic will be restricted on Comox Lake Road; access will be provided to residents, and those accessing Coal Creek Historic Park and the disc golf course, and the boat launch – check in with traffic marshals at Sutton Road
- Parking restrictions along the south side of Dunsmuir Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street
- Riders and hikers may wish to use Village Park to access to the Community Forest to avoid congestion in the area of the CRI parking lot.
Riders accessing the Cumberland Forest trails may wish to use the Village Park access point rather than the Sutton Road entrance.
Please cooperate with traffic control marshals in support of this event.
