As you are probably aware our Solid Waste contractor Emterra experienced significant challenges this week resulting in multiple day delays for organics and garbage pick up. During these delays Village staff are working diligently to update residents about the delay in a timely fashion.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and want to take this opportunity to remind our residents that downloading and using the Waste Wise App is the most efficient way of receiving updates during a delay. The app allows the Village to create a Service Alert in which we can target to both our commercial and residential customers. The alert is then sent directly to you via email, text or even a phone call, whichever your preference.
