***As of September 17, 2025 the Campfire Ban is now lifted on Category One Fires in Cumberland Fire Protection area. This includes backyard recreational fires.
CAMP FIRE BAN NOTICE: Effective July 17, 2025 at Noon until further notice, Recreational Fires are Prohibited in the Following Jurisdictions:
Village of Cumberland
Cumberland Lake Park
Cumberland Fire Protection District
Portable CSA and ULC Approved Cam Fire Devices, Barbeques and Cook Stoves with flames less then 15cm are permitted at this time.
