Traffic Advisory – First Street Construction

Roads and Utilities Capital Works construction has begun on First Street starting with the block between Beaufort and Penrith Avenues. This block of First Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during construction hours.
Access to the Cultural Centre from First Street will be maintained during construction. Access to the Cumberland Village Health Care building will be maintained via a detour route to Beaufort Avenue along Silecroft Avenue or for vehicles approaching on First Street from the north side of the work zone.

Every effort will be made to maintain pedestrian, and local resident access during construction. Traffic control personnel will be on site at all times during construction to assist road users. Please be patient and obey all signage and traffic control personnel during this time.
