Fireworks Display Permit Application - Family Fireworks

The applicant must be the person who will supervise the fireworks display.

Submitting this application does not constitute a permit to display fireworks. An approved permit must be issued to you by Cumberland Fire Rescue. If you are not the property owner of the location of the display, you must submit this application with the property owner's signature to the Village of Cumberland Office. Permits generally take two business days for processing. Approved permits will be emailed to you directly or can be picked up at the Village Office. Contact info@cumberland.ca for questions.

I understand that Fireworks displays on private property may take place only on October 31 or December 31 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.*
If you are not the property owner, you must include written permission from the property owner with this application.

Displays must take place on private property at the location of display indicated on this application and not on the road right-of-way or any other public property. By submitting this application, the applicant agrees that the safety and security of low hazard fireworks displays is the responsibility of the property owner, person conducting the display, and/or the sponsoring organization. Any and all costs for emergency response for a display shall be borne by the sponsoring organization or person conducting the display, if found negligent.
