Coal Valley Estates Phase 9 – Boulevards & Street Trees

Posted on

Over the next few weeks, residents will see Wacor Holdings Ltd. crews landscaping boulevards in the Coal Valley Estates Phase 9 neighbourhood. This is a requirement of subdivision and is being done by the developer. Amended soil, sod, street trees and irrigation will replace the gravel installed on the boulevards during the build-out.

One tree per property will be planted with final locations to be determined in the field.

The boulevard on the south side of Lindale Avenue will be hydroseeded with a restoration seed mix and planted with a variety of suitable native shrubs. Trees cannot be planted in this location due to shallow underground utilities. Large rocks will be installed along the length of the boulevard to protect the plantings.

Residents are requested to refrain from parking on, or driving over, the newly sodded boulevards.
