Crews to Clear Brush and Trees Along Lagoon Trails

Work will be taking place in August to clear brush and trees above the sewer trunk main that runs from the top of Mill Street to the wastewater treatment lagoon behind Ulverston Avenue and Coniston Crescent.
During this time, trails in the area will be closed for the safety of residents.
Clearing the area above the sewer main is important as it provides the access to the sewer main manholes. If there was ever a sewer blockage in this main, crews would need to be able to access the sewer line with the flushing truck.
