Cumberland Fire Rescue Seeking New Members
Posted on
Cumberland Fire Rescue is seeking new recruits to join their dedicated, paid volunteer, on-call firefighters and first responders for the fall 2018 training sessions. The Department offers a great training and education program, including first aid, air brakes, and auto extrication, and a great way to get involved and support your community.
Training will begin in September 2018. If you would like to give back to your community, now is the time to start! Regular members must be 18 years of age or older. Junior members must be at least 16 years old. Applicants must be in good health and hold a clean class 5 driver’s licence.
Please contact Fire Chief Mike Williamson or Deputy Fire Chief Craig Windley at 250-336-2531. You can also stop by the Fire Hall at Dunsmuir and First Street for more information about the challenging and rewarding opportunities with Cumberland Fire Rescue.
