Development Variance Permit 3274 Third Street

Please be advised that the Village has received an application for a minor development variance Permit at 3274 Third Street. The applicant has established Gravity, MTB, a bike service and retail store at this location. This change of use within an existing building requires a new business license, and parking requirements must be met for this new use before a business license can be issued.
Under Zoning Bylaw 1027, 2016, Section 6.3.3, three (3) parking stalls are required for these uses. The subject property does not have parking stalls on site for this commercial unit. As the use is for bike service and related retail, staff and many of the customers are expected to travel by bicycle, most of the time.
