The Village of Cumberland invites applications for the full-time temporary position of Accounting Clerk I.

The Finance Department is responsible for directing financial systems, which supports the activities of other departments and the provision of financial information to the public. The Department is responsible for all of the financial activities undertaken by the Village including receipt of all payments, keeping of all funds and securities, expending and disbursing money as authorized, keeping accurate records and full accounts of the financial affairs of the Village, and compiling and supplying financial information to internal and external sources.

The successful applicant will work a full-time five day 35 hour week as per the Collective Agreement for an Office employee for a term ending October 24, 2021.

This is a Union position and subject to the Collective Agreement between the Village of Cumberland and CUPE Local 556. The salary for this position will be $29.13 per hour with benefits and increases as per the Collective Agreement.
