Flags at Half Mast

The Village Hall flags have been lowered to recognize the passing of Cumberland Firefighter Bob Banks.
Bob joined our department in January of 1969 and was still very active in service when he passed. For over 45 years Bob served and dedicated much of his time to his passion, firefighting. Anyone that has come in contact with Bob knows how passionate and committed he was to the Cumberland Fire Department. Bob was a Captain for more than 20 years in our department, and is an Honorary Captain. His experience, wisdom and personality are going to be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be planned at a later time. Details will be provided once they become available.
