Find the Candidate’s Guide to Local Elections in B.C.
The period to file a candidate nomination with the Chief Election Officer at the Village Office is from 9 a.m. on August 6 to 4 p.m. on August 16, 2024. Candidate nomination forms for the office of councillor must be received by the Chief Election Officer at the Village of Cumberland office during the candidate nomination period. It is recommended that candidates make an appointment to submit nominations by contacting the Village office at 250-336-2291.
