ISL Engineering LIDAR Drone Use in the Village

As part of the data collection process for the Village of Cumberland’s Sanitary and Stormwater Master Plan updates, a LIDAR drone will be flying over the Village throughout the week. LIDAR is a form of laser imaging and is used for various surveying, geomatic and geographic purposes that creates digital 3D representations on the Earth’s surface. No actual photo imagery is captured during this process.
