Join the Cumberland Accessibility Committee

The Village is recruiting new members for its Accessibility and Inclusion Committee.
The Committee makes recommendations on matters referred to it by Council as well as to Village staff on facilities and services upon request on such things as washroom design, on-street parking, emergency programming, special events, and parks and trails.
The Committee also plays a role in public awareness and recognizes businesses and organizations that have made efforts to make Cumberland a more inclusive and accessible place to live and visit. Find out more about the Committee and its terms of reference.
To apply to join the Committee, please download an application form and submit your application with your resume to the Village in person or by email to info@cumberland.ca by January 3, 2020.
Applicants may be asked to meet briefly with Council members on the evening of Monday, January 13, 2020.
