Native Sons Hall Warming Centre Activated

Monday, March 4th Native Sons Hall will be open 10pm-7am
Due to current weather conditions, the warming centre in lower Native Sons Hall (360 Cliffe Avenue) has been activated. It will be open this evening, Monday, March 4th from 10pm-7am. Warming Centres provide a safe, warm, dry place of refuge, access to washroom facilities, a seating area and snacks & refreshments.
Mobile Wellness Checks will be provided by Cumberland Fire to check on vulnerable individuals on the street to ensure they are safe, warm and not suffering from any medical concerns. In addition, this crew will also coordinate transportation to the warming centre, if required.
