Notice of Brushing and Tree Work to Power Line Corridor in the Cumberland Community Forest

Users of the Cumberland Community Forest are advised of brushing and tree work occurring in the Cumberland Community Forest in mid-October.
The work will be performed along the linear power line corridor that runs from the Boundary Creek Bridge (aka “the Swamp Swale Bridge”) to the Chlorine Shack. Temporary closures to trails along the route may occur, including Josh, Space Nugget, and Black Hole. Please watch for signs and follow directions from crews on site.
The work is being performed to mitigate against power outages to Village drinking water supply facilities.
