The intent of the proposed Temporary Use Permit is to permit the existing automotive repair shop at 4693 Cumberland Road. The shop is currently not a permitted use on that property under Zoning Bylaw 1027, 2016.

If approved, the Temporary Use Permit will be valid for three years. After that time, the owner has the option to apply to renew the permit for a further three years or apply to rezone to permit an automotive repair facility on the property.

Council meeting

The application will be considered at the November 8, 2021 Council meeting, starting at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers at 2675 Dunsmuir Avenue.

The public is invited to attend the meeting or watch it on the Village’s YouTube Channel. The agenda and link for on-line viewing will be posted at cumberland.ca/meetings on the Friday before the Council meeting.
