Notice to Electors of an Alternative Approval Process (Sewer AAP)

The Village of Cumberland will be holding an alternative approval process (AAP) from February 8 to March 9, 2017 to gain the approval of the electors to pass “Sewer Improvements Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 1049.” This bylaw would authorize the Village to borrow $4 310 650 for a maximum 30-year term for improvements to the wastewater treatment (sewer) system.
An information package including a summary of the project, financial information, a copy of Bylaw No. 1049 and more information about the AAP is available on the Sewer AAP page, and at the Village of Cumberland office on business days between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
