Road and Utility Construction Projects

Dec 8 2020 update: Work on these construction projects will continue through December into January due to a number of factors. Thank you everyone for your patience.

The following road and underground utility projects have begun and are expected to be completed by late-November:

  1. Derwent Avenue from Fifth to Sixth Street; Sixth Street from Derwent to Allen Avenue, lane south of Dunsmuir at Sixth Street: road, water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer
  2. Maryport Avenue, from Third Street to Fourth Street: road work
  3. Windermere Avenue from Second Street to Cumberland School; First Street from Maryport to Ulverston; Second Street from Maryport to Windermere: components of water, storm sewer, road and sidewalk along Windermere to Cumberland School Beaufort Building
  4. Lane north of Dunsmuir from the Museum across First Street: Storm sewer

The total budget for the capital projects including contingency and engineering fees is $1,245,077.
