Snow and Ice Control
Posted on
When it’s snowing, residents and business owners are asked to keep sidewalks adjacent to your property clear of ice and snow and are asked to use “concrete-friendly” ice melting products. Sandwich board signs and other decorative items must be removed from the sidewalks when there is snow on the ground to help keep the sidewalks clear for pedestrians.
During snowfall, residents are asked to park vehicles well off the travelled portion of the roadway to allow snow ploughs to clear your road. This will also reduce the chances of damage to your vehicle as snow plough trucks have limited maneuverability.
