Special Event at Village Park

Residents are advised that the Village has permitted an event at Village Park from Thursday, July 30 through Monday, August 1.
A BMX national race event is taking place at the BMX track in Village Park, with sections of the grassy area of the park being used for event camping. Take-down of the event is expected to happen by noon on Monday.
Public access to the Colliery Trail will be maintained at all times, and the permittee has been asked to ensure that event parking does not overflow onto Sixth Street near the dog park and skate/jump park. Access to other park amenities, including the playground, splash park and sports courts will not be affected.
